The
most recent book by the author of the highly successful Vet in
the Vestry, in the same anecdotal style, continues his account
of pastoral work in a human context. This book includes something
of the shock and pain of the Lockerbie disaster, since the author's
little church was at the centre of that terrible event. As a result,
his small flock came to establish bonds with families from across
the world; for the most part the book deals with happier times
and concentrates upon issues of life, love and humour in a rural
ministry. (Alexander Cameron is the pen-name of Rev. Alexander
Cameron Gibson)
